A group of reporters decided to buy a $1000 toxic asset bond like the ones that came close to bringing down the world financial system in Sept. 2008. They traced the underlying real estate loans that made it up, and interviewed some of the individual debtors whose defaults were partly the cause of the upheaval. An excellent of the crisis.
